When you say musical performer and entertainer I don't think of my favorite rock singers...I think of the combined words that your using....and when I first read this I thought of Sammy Davis Jr. !!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, Joe Williams. He had a beautiful voice with an incredible range and a way with a lyric that interpreted not only the words but the emotion. When he sang a torch song like A Cottage For Sale, you felt the emptiness of a lost dream, or the fun and excitement of Roll 'em Pete. No one before or after him has had his musical ability, vocal range and acting ability to interpret a song and lyric as beautifully.
