How old are you? If you do well enough in high school, you can receive college credit. This will shorten the traditional 4 year bachelor degree. A master's degree is an additional 2 years. If you plan on taking summer courses, this would again shorten your schooling. Good luck...the violin is perhaps one of the greatest instruments to play!

At most universities it takes about 4 years to get a bachelor's degree. Of course this is all dependent upon how many classes you take a semester. If you go full time or more for fall, spring and summer semesters, you could graduate earlier than 4 years. After you have a bachelor's, a masters is usually 2 additional years, but again, this could vary from person to person.

3 years for bach, masters is at your own pace.
bout 4yrs all up.

Finish high school first, then go to college and study music, in New Jersey we have Rowan, (use to be Glassboro State) and then go on to a good college like the University of Indianan....for a masters......it takes about four years for both !!!!!!!!!

Most Bachelor's degrees require 4 years at a "regular" college or university; a Master's requires 2 more. Degree requirements, stringency, and lengths are different at colleges like conservatories and music schools

Bachelors=4
Masters=2

This is assuming you go to school full-time for each one and don't fail any classes.
