I really love each version, I think everyone has something nice and special!
Webber's musical is just gorgeous as well as his movie.
Lon Chaney is the first movie and it is great too. The end is terrible, but it is fault of the movie director who changed it in the last days. Chaney wanted the end to be like in the book.
Yeston and Kopit musical together with Ken Hill one are wonderful too!
But my fave is, without any doubt the original book by Leroux. Without it, there wouldn't be any versions! I cied when I read it too, and together with Susan Kay book, hey are my fave version of this story.

I like the Ma-Ha version. The best part was when they broke into a 'stache dance. Single-Single-Double. Single-Single-Freestyle!
