There is exactly no difference - the instrument and parts are the same except that one is in BC and the other TC.

The reason: very often, baritone/euphonium players are trumpet players switching (treble clef) or potential future tuba players (bass clef). It became tradition years ago to provide parts in both clefs.

Those who start on baritone/euphonium and continue on the instrument learn to play both clefs fluently and often learn tenor clef as well. Many advanced players are able to read equally well off of baritone, trombone, tenor sax, bari sax, bassoon, and tuba parts.

In my band class, another person and I play a Baritone. I don't think there is a difference. He plays the T.C. and I play the B.C., and I think the only difference is the notes. He just moved from a Trumpet, so I guess thats why.

i don't think there is any difference besides the cleff. Both are great instruments. =D
