Anybody watch the Royal Variety Performance?

Question:Russell Brand....comedian?I'd only heard of him as a sexual pervert.Distasteful and distinctly not funny.In fact,utter garbage!

Ive never liked him... I used to watch that big brother show he did... But stopped watching it because found him so crude... glad he doesnt do it anymore.
And i cringed when he started talking about drugs in front of the queen. omg!

He isn`t very funny is he, i don`t know what people see in him. However Paul Potts was class, good man. Hope Madge liked him.

Yes man, I do. I did really enjoy that bit about this BGT's contestant who sings opera, but Russell Brand is just crap at its best. What did they put him on the show for?

,Paul Potts is the name to look out for in the future absolutely brilliant, My wife and I are delighted to see him doing so well.
The producers of the Royal variety shows seem to have lost the plot,
This one was only slightly improved on the last one which <was a disgrace>,we were embarrassed at the standard of some of the artists?Not, the level to appear in the shows by any standards,this year or, any other years.

didnt really know who russel brand was but thought he was ok not brill but just ok!!!!!!

I totally agree with you. He is a total prat. He was on the Jonathon Ross show the other week and I could not make out whether he was gay, straight or bi, the way he was going on about Daniel Craig. He certainly was not funny and has never been funny as far as I am concerned.
Going on to another act though, that guy with the cartoon character was absolutly brilliant. So unusual.lol

I found parts of his act very funny. It is true that some of it was distasteful but it wasn't half as bad as Joan Rivers swearing all over the place and wearing a space outfit as well!
