Guitar help Fender American Strat experts?

Question:Is this guitar worth anything? I am concerned that thers no serial number on headstock in the pictures, could it be in back of neck? does this look like a authentic strat.

96 fender strat, Someone is willing to sell to me for 700

Please advise. Right now I am using a 86 Jap strat.

Does anyone have any info on this guitar, is this guitar special? thanks

i got a mexican fender strat a year ago and it had the fender logo and serial number up on the headstock on that one it doesnt say fender or start or anything..

700? i payed about 400 for mine at guitar center...
my adise is you really need to go and play it first and make sure you like the feel of it and check it out

A lot of people try to sell fake USA Strats - it has to say "Made in USA" on the headstock under the varnish. (I've seen people put a decal over the original finish) It should have a serial number that you can look up. Buyer Beware!
