Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: what instrument do you play? how old were you when you started? do you enjoy it? example: i play piano and have been playing since i was seven. i like playing piano and would never quit. I have been playing piano since I was five years old. I've been playing viola since I was eight. I am now thirteen years old and still enjoy playing both piano and viola! I also like to sing and have since I was preschool age! I love music! I play the piano and I have been playing since I was five. I love playing the piano. 15 violin 8 viola 14 I have been playing the harp since I was nine (i am 15 now) I love it because it is so unique and elegant! clarinet, guitar, recorder, piano, and my voice! Bodhran since I was 31. I still enjoy it but don't get enough time to play as much as I would like to. I have been playing flute since I was 12 and guitar since I was 13. I adore them both and I always have time for music. i used to play the piano....i began when i was 5 and i think it's oaky. but i got too busy and had to quit. Then in gr 5 (i think age 10?) i played the alto sax...and i love it!!!! I played the piano since I was 4, I learned to play the guitar at 11, and I also play the violin. I love music. Music is the substance of life. guitar(4 months ago- im 13) and voice(ever since i could open mymouth), i LOVELOVELOVE it!! i think im gonna start piano! I first started with the piano at age 5, then saxophone at age 9. Now I play the guitar and drums. I'm 15, and i've been playing the piano since the age of 10. I do enjoy it when I get to play music of my own choosing. Recently (within the past two months), I took up playing guitar, and I love it. I've also been singing for about two years. I play both drums & guitars. Drums for 20 years. Guitars for 9 years. I was 15 when I srtated playing guitar, then it got ripped off. Then, I tried drums at 16 and stayerd with it to this day. In 1998, I later picked up guitar again after a freak accident where I dislocated my left ringfinger. I slipped on the sand in the parking lot and landed on a curb chasing after a female friend. No, I would never quit...especially not now in my life. I wouldn't encourage people to quit music. Music is thearapy for me. I play the piano and guitar, not well anymore as I haven't played much in the last couple years and have lost some coordination and memory on notes and chords. I was in about 4th grade when i started piano lessons and hated to practice so after awhile i quit but retained enough to read the music and as I got older i started back fooling around with it, mostly by ear. I started the quitar in my 30's and i am 58 now and just started playing again after about 3 yrs. Amazing how uncoordinated and forgetful you can get in that period of time. bass, guitar, keyboard bass since 17, guitar since 17, keyboards since 6 but mostly doodling, serioiusly since 18 or 19. I played mostly bass and keys on stage guitar for fun and jamming I could, once upon a time, play all of Mystery of the Barracades on piano but I never mastered it. Now I can only play the start and fumble through the rest. Firstly VOICE, started singing by i dunno, 2? Then Piano at 5 Oboe at 11 Guitar at 14 a little clarinet for marching band at 15 Harmonica at 20 I've been playing the piano since I was 6 years old. I really enjoy it. I can play by sight and ear, so I can play my favorite song when I hear them! I'm also a percussionist. My strong points are Mallet percussion, cymbals, bass, timpani, and auxiliary. I'm trying to improve my snare and tenor skills. I would never give up playing mallets. I'm preparing to go to college and major in music performance and education. Hope This Helped. :-) Acoustic guitar (started when I was 13). Mandolin (took lessons for 6 months when I was about 31)' Banjo (taught myself to play starting when I was about 32) Fiddle (taught myself to play starting when I was about 33) I have played the piano since I was eight and the violin since I was seventeen. I enjoy them both, but don't give them nearly as much time anymore as I ought to in order to improve. Piano -- 9, More every day (and even more since a few years ago when I underwent rigorous training in how to effectively practice) Flute -- 10, More every day (and everything I learned in my piano training has massively improved my flute as well). Whichever instrument I am playing at the moment is the one I love the most, if that makes any sense! the trombone-since i was 10 and i LOVE it; it is my FAVORITE!!! the piano-since i was 13 and i like it but cant get the hang of it lol... the trumpet-since i was 14 and i like it the clarinet-for a year or so when i was 14 and it was ok... the french horn since i was 15 and i like it the baritone/euphonium-since i was 14 and its ok too im trying to learn the bass/guitar because im terrible at all string instruments so i want to get better. i can't make a sound come out of a flute and i dont know why lol... i also sing for live theatre and i LOVE that too! im 18 and hope to be a music teacher one day. :) |
