What's easier to play? Acoustic or Electric (if your starting out)?

Question:i heard that if youre good at acoustic, youll be good at any guitar. is that true?

electric may be easier to play. but starting on an acoustic i think would be very beificial considering i wil make you're fingers stronger than just playing electric, adn therefore when and if you do switch over to electric you will have more finger strenght and technical ability than if you just started on electric

that's what í heard too, from a guitar player, but hey, I've guitar players in our band who are really good at their electrics, and they started electric...
maybe it has more to do with your enthusiasm ;-D
I hear from some guitar players that it's all about what you want to do: easy and fast learn to play, try accords (good to do on electric); play anything you see in music and hear, try acoustic 'Spanish' way with tunes/melody and that involves accords too (usually connected with acoustic)
And of course: what's the music you want to play??? does that involve electric or acoustic -> start with what you prefer, because that's easier because you like it better...
