Stamina should not be a problem. Smaller hands limit technique a bit, but you should be able to do impressive stuff.

To build stamina, start playing and find the point at which you start to tire. Then set your practice time limit at 90% of that--and if it's really short, practice several times daily. After a couple of weeks, increase the time of each session by 10%--then each week, increase the time of one of those sessions by another 10% and eventually that one session gets up to 30 minutes, at which point start dropping the other shorter sessions. This way you build up stamina properly without risk of repetitive motion injury.

And about that repetitive motion injury stuff--if you lack stamina, it might indicate that you're playing wrong. Consult any good teacher and see if you need to re-learn finger or hand position.

Also, you might have a pre-existing physical problem--I recall reading how Justin Hayward (lead guitar, Moody Blues) suffered from fatigue for years and then learned that he had a wrist problem from an auto accident in his early teens, getting it fixed made playing much more enjoyable for him. If you suspect something the same for yourself, time to see the doctor.

Angus Young - AC/DC - is only 5'2" and has small hands, plays a wide neck Gibson SG. Doesn't slow him down much.

having a small hand and short fingers is not a hindrance in being a good guitar player.
The thing you must do is to exercise your fingers to improve dexterity

JOE SATRIANI , is one of the greatest guitar players of all time , if not the greatest. JOE is 5'5 and hands to match his body. I have a lot of videos on him and his hands are small. Joe plays a Ibanez guitar , they have smaller necks than the other guitars. Let me know if this helps you.............Mike.

I believe Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath had some fingers amputated.

Also years ago there was some guy with no arms who played the guitar with his feet. He performed for the Pope.

The great thing about guitars is there are work arounds to problems. The only real limit is your imagination.
