bass strings are the same as guitar strings in standard tuning, only an octave down. You can play bass tabs on the four lowest strings of a guitar, and vice versa. Going from guitar to bass. if you have notes on the two highest strings, you'll have to try to move them down to the G string, or play them as harmonics
