There is no correct way to set a band on stage. traditionally the drums are at the back, bass and keyboards to the sides and guitar and vocals up front.
I suggest the most entertaining members of the band up front to be noticed. The ones that involve the audience and who give a hundred percent to making the audience feel they are watching rockstars.
Make sure you have room to move so you don't feel cluttered. Sometimes it's good to watch music vids of your favorite bands to learn from.
