Who's been to juillard school of music?

No, it's not good. It's excellent. I am a pianist, not a violist, so I cannot speak to the viola department specifically, but it's definitely one of the top music programs overall and I'm sure it's among the best for viola too.

Ranking music schools is not a science as it is hard to quantify the strength of a music program, but most people I know would consider the Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music and Eastman School of Music at the top for most instruments here in the US.

There are many many more good schools though, so you should consider several others as well. And if you are serious about music and viola, you've got to get to know the professors...the most important factor in choosing a music school is the teacher you'd study with.

Juilliard is not just an excellent school, it's also very selective. Good luck!
