I play piano and flute. I started playing piano at age five and started playing flute at age nine. Now I'm thirteen years old and still love to play both instruments!

I am in love with my piano. Gotta love another piano player. Music can bring so much into your life, it always calms me when I am upset or down. Have you ever played piano during a rainstorm? That is so great. Would love to learn another instrument too. (I'm 16 and I began learning piano in the 8th grade, began a bit later than most, but it is never too late to love music)

And I can play flute- but I don't.

I played flute from middle school through junior year of highschool. hated it. I started piano in the 1st grade and played all through senior year. LOVED it. my parents recently sold our piano, and i was so sad. I can't fit one in my house, and i loved to play it when i went home. I'm 22 now.

i play the violin and the flute the band instructor says u need the lip 2 play it thats why its so hard it was hard 4 me at first but then u get the hang of it

I play piano, violin and viola. I started piano in 3rd grade, and was given the opportunity to learn violin my freshman year of high school. Except for a few years when I had small children, I've played ever since.

Five years ago I took up viola because the small community orchestra I played in needed a violist. Lots of string quartet gigs for viola players!

I play the Ocarina (which is a type of flute), and the piano, as well as electronic keyboards. I also play acoustic classical and "dreadnought" guitars, as well as electric guitar. The guitar was the first musical instrument that I ever picked up and decided to learn, and I was 27 when I started (I'm now 43)! I am entirely self-taught, learning from music instruction books. I was very curious about music theory, chord theory, and scale theory, so I simply devoured every source of information that I could get my hands on. I decided early on that I didn't want to be limited to guitar (and be "just" a guitarist), but that I wanted to learn the language of music so that I could be a musician. This is what got me interested in learning other instruments as well as guitar. Music really is the only "universal" language on our planet that we all share in. I would like to wish you "good luck" and offer you encouragement on your musical studies. If you keep the required discipline, and have a true love and passion for whatever instrument(s) you wish to learn, there is NO LIMIT to how far you can go!

I'm in Junior High, i play flute. I am 14, 8th Grade. I started in 6th grade when i was 11-12 y/o.
I absolultely love it. but i hate marching band so I might quit b4 high school...but i'm moving to another side of the country so if the band doesn't have to march i'm gonna stay in band.
