Which is better.....???? (for the artistic soul)?

Question:what do you think is better? drama or dance? personally i LOVE them both but i want to see what you guys like. also tell me some musicals, plays, or famous dance recitals you like.

You should do both. Drama is more attuned to your personal exploration and your relationship to others, whereas dance is an exploration of body and physical presence in the universe.

As both a dancer and an actor, your body will be the temple that houses your art- treat it well.

I as an actor take dance classes to keep myself aware of my body. Look into acting conservatories where they like to train you in both. the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts on the central coast of California has a lot of emphasis in dance, but is also provides excellent acting classes. Perhaps you should expose yourself to an environment like that so you can look deeply into them both to find your own way.

but i would say dance

I think dance is better than drama. The reason being dance involves your whole being. The moment you stop the dance is also stopped. You can dance any way you like . it is an expression of joy, physical fitness,professional skill and calculated movements. The drama does not have all the in gradients.

hollywood musicals, cant beat'em!! ask fhadfuga bet he has a whole vidio liabrary full! myself I like west side story, cant dance, but play a mean guitar, oh you left out music..

I'm a musician so I just love to play my trombone. I can see the benefits of both drama and dance. Dance can be exuberant and spontaneous. Drama takes such skill to communicate with the audience. I feel music trascends both though.
For your second question, I love West Side Story. I like the tragic story line, the music, the dancing, the plot and sub plots. The song "Somewhere" gives me such hope and joy.
