Conn 8D vs. Holton 179?

Question:I'm having trouble deciding which horn to get. Does one has any advantages over the other?

Hmmm well I'd go with neither

personally, i play a gorgeous Hans Hoyer french horn, german and cost about the same as a Conn 8D

gorgeous sound, so pretty, fills a room, gorgeous range, plays really well high

combine with a bach mouthpiece

ah c'est magnifique!

(but if those are the only choices, Conn's sound a bit brighter i believe)
