Practice, practice, practice...

The only way to get your voice to do what you want to at any given time is to practice like CRAZY! I'm a music performance major and have been playing music for at least 12 years now... and STILL if I take more than a week off from practicing, there will be a noticeable decrease in my skill level. But the more you practice, the better you get and the more reliable your skills are when you need them...

I would suggest practicing for at least 10-15 minutes EVERY DAY. That may sound like a lot of effort, but its not out of reach if you really care about it. Put in the time, and you'll see some fantastic improvements.

Just avoid those gaps between practicing and you'll be great!

Good Luck!
