UMM....There's this contest??!!?!?!?!?!?

Question:ok at my school thereis a contest called airband...it is like a talent show but it isnt.....wat happens is people perform to different oldies song by dressing like the groups and lypsincing the words....i always do it wiht my friends...but this year we cant figure out a song.....if you have any good songs from anywhere between 1960-1990ish that would be good for this contest...plz let me know....i need all the help i can get....thanx a bunch

As far as your question goes......why not dress up as early "Kiss", back when they used the makeup and outfits? "Detroit Rock City" would be a good Kiss song to mime to.

If it is a contest like at my school and your peers and teachers both vote, I can give you a 95% guarantee that you will win and they right songs that you can get very creative with. If you do a song by these guys you and your friends will have lots of fun. I recommend "It's the End of the World as We Know It."

When i saw your question it brought back memories.I was a junior in junior high school
we did the same program.( 1950)
HOW ABOUT THE TEMPT IONS,(STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE) OR ANY DO WHOP GROUP.
DO YOUR SONG AND DO YOUR MOVEMENTS AND SECOND FOLLOW UP WITH THE SONG AGAIN.

any Top 40 song and at least the audience will know it.
Keep it simple.> Any songs from that time you know and like?
That would be a good place to start.
Almost sounds like Karaoke> another place to choose a good song that you can pull off,>as it is a contest!
