Question:Hey :). On Wednesday I have a oracy exam and it includes a Personal Appriciation talk. I have decided to to it on my piano.
I have written about how satisfying it is, and how excited I am for my future lessons. But it's too short, and I am stuck for idea's of what to talk about. It's kind of like "Starting Something New".which is my piano and how exciting it is learning something. But I am just really stuck for idea's of what else to talk about to add more to my speech.

Thanks for all your help.
And please don't say do your own bloody homework because I am not lazy I am trying really hard, I just can't think of anything and I can't ask my drama teacher until tomorrow and that's a bit late.

THANKS!

When ever I've talked to kids about how music has influenced my life I talk about how I've never been bored...how music has always kept me out of trouble...I never had to do drugs or drink because I was always so excited about getting to my new piece...learning music has always been apart of my life...all my friends were always talking about how bored they were....I never was...music always made me happy.... I was forever leaning new things....surprisingly I never became bored with it.....sometimes I would work as long as a month learning a new piece....especially the Bach works....(I play classical guitar)....It's funny how all the members of my family who are into music as much as I am never got into drugs....our music is our drug....even on days when I'm down about something....I get out my music and start working on it and I forget all my problems.....music has gotten me through many a bad time. If your into your music I bet that you don't do drugs right ???? I think that all children should be encouraged to take up a musical instrument....most of us do stay out of trouble....and that old adage about making you smarter I agree....most of us like to read....play chess...and don't have time to be involved with things like drugs or alcohol !!!!!!!! Music can occupy your whole life...you can study it while your young....study it in college....and then maybe go into it as a profession when your older...you can even earn extra money teaching it at home...That's one of the things I like about music...it can last a life time...your never done learning....and it can give you a carreer....and it can make your life worth living !!!!!!!!

It's kind of hard to give you ideas because we don't know what you have already written, maybe put in some history of pianos or the different kinds of pianos. Maybe even talk about some famous pianists.

Hope this helped, good luck!
