Did the "Roxyettes" dance group exist AFTER the original group became

Question:A google says that while they were called the Roxyetters until 1934 when they moved to Radio City Music Hall. But I have a postcard from 1942, showing the Hotel Taft and The Roxy Theatre, and a dancer there calls herself in the card a "Roxyette." Anyone know about this?

My mother was a Roxyette at the Roxy Theatre from 46 - 49... She danced there w/the likes of Abbott and Costello - Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis and many more - if you want more info, I can ask her for more particulars...
