What does it take to get on Broadway?

Question:I am a 14 year old girl and I simply adore Broadway. I want to get there someday but I'm having difficulties thinking how I will make it. I'm about to start voice lessons and I'm about to audition for my school musical. I also take dance classes but I'm not sure what else to do...any ideas?

you gotta be able to stand alone and be your biggest motivation and fan to survive. it takes a lot of hard work. a lot of hours practicing. voice lessons. dance lessons. studying your craft day in and day out. never giving in to people saying you should quit or find something else just to be safe or maybe you shouldn't be so serious about it or whatever. you have to push. and keep pushing. and when YOU are ready to give up, PUSH HARDER! and when you get there...send free tickets to all the people who said all the wrong things to you and razzle dazzle 'em!!!

If you take a taxi, about 30 bucks!!!!
