It depends on what you're doing with it.

From looking at it, it seems like a budget set of drums. I mean it's a pretty good deal, but it will have its downsides, namely, it just won't sound as good as better sets.

If you're a beginning drummer and need a simple, not too expensive kit, I'd say it's a good choice, but be prepared to want to update the drums in a year.

For any ability level higher than beginner, I would say not to get them as it is worth it to spend the money on a really nice set and not have to replace it.

No, not really. That must be no name brand.
If you are looking for a decent, starter kit for around $400.
My suggestion is to check out the DDRUM D2 kits.

It is a cheap drum kit. If you are a beginner who is not planning on gigging with this kit...enjoy it. If you plan on gigging or you're an Intermediate to Advanced level drummer...stay away from this!
