zildjian have been my favorite for 20 years. they stand up to most punishment . the most trouble i have had with any cymbal is in moving them from gig to gig so i suggest a cymbal bag or hard-case. thinner crash cymbals do break and chip over time or after an overly-aggressive friend stops by to bang on them.
when choosing cymbals, take the sticks u play with, try out the cymbals under normal playing conditions. all music stores should allow you to try them out,( if they don't do not waste your time shopping there.)
Sabian's, to me, are alittle thicker, and their casting process is different than Zildjian's. They have a heavy sound and more designed for power-drumming, compare to Zildjian's precision-drumming.
it is all about personal preference, and mine is Zildjian, yours may be something else. Be patient and ask vendors to send you a complete catalog to examine before making a decision. Cymbals are an investment and make a wise one.

Paiste. They are pretty good and I used to own them myself as well. I had the expensive 2002s 7 years ago.
They are good, solid cymbals for the money. You get a sensitive & clear sound from them. They have the PST3 and PST5 packs. Here is their official website.

I hope this helped you and good luck
