Question:I have a mex strat from 1995, in like new cond. Is it worth any because its 12 years old. new selling 399.00

I have a contemporary japan strat from 85 to 87.
worh anything? thanks

They're not "classics" so they won't increase in value - but do hold they're value so you should be able to get close to the new price if they are in good shape (if they are real Fenders - not Squiers). The true Fender Strats are Alder if it's painted or Ash if it's a sunburst or clear finish.
