If you really want to get serious, get some lessons. You will learn how to sing without a ruining your vocal chords. You would be surprised how easily this can happen. Learning to sing properly means that you can sing for hours and still stay in pitch. Your vocal chords are a delicate instrument. Once you strain them, you could permanently ruin your chances of improving them. A good couch could help you with that. If you think that you can sing now, a good couch can help you to turn heads and make impressions. Seriously.

Got a link so we can hear this really great voice? I assume you are young, so Id say get a vocal coach and learn all you can, finish school, THEN chase your dream.

Make a video, and then put it on youtube....this way you could get feed back from people all over the world....and believe me people notice....and who knows....an agent could be watching !!!!!!!! You never know....I play classical guitar....and because of youtube I found one of the worlds greatest players, Peo Kindgren, he's on youtube and everyone is always asking him, " when are you going to make a Cd " ???
So give it a try, and see where it gets you....like I said, " You never know", wish you luck !!!!!!!!!

There are TONS of people out there with 'really great voices' I hate to break your spirit but it takes at least 10 years of working in the industry to even think about reaching the same level that other muso's are at! 10 years of 8 hour practise sessions, struggling with money, sometimes working 2-3 jobs to pay the rent, Are you prepared for that? Even after 10 years there is no guarantee that you will make it It takes a hell of a lot of luck and talent! Get a vocal coach, take dances lessons and practise practise , practise Good luck with your dream

if ur frends say u sound like hannah montanna, then u cant sing
