It seems that I'm the only person who has seen your question, and understood what you actually meant.

The people that say that you dont know anything about music are really the ones who don't know music. It seems most people that don't play a instrument (i am excluding strings, they have a hard time grasping this too.) can't grasp this concept. (I have a friend thats a singer, and I've tried many time to explain that her C is not the same as mine because she sings in concert pitch (C) while the clarinet is a B flat.)

To answer your question, they would be the same notes. Flute is in concert pitch (C) and so are all string instruments. (Singers to.)

Hope this helps!

P.S. I suggest posting this in the music section, you might get a lot more answers from people who know music.

it sould be the same. probalyh no need to change it.

Musical Notes are musical notes. If you recieved the violin section of a selection, then those are the notes you'll be playing.

it will be the same note, but a c on a violin is gonna sound diff than the same c on a flute.

cheers!

they'll be in different keys, i think, but it will sound fine. you're melody will sound the same.

"Its me" is correct. A C on the violin is the same pitch as a C on the flute. You can play a violin part on the flute and it will sound the same.

It will be the same, just don't go below middle C as that''s the bottom of the flute's range (unless you have a B foot) whereas a violin can go down the G below that.

Good Luck!

They're both C instruments; you'll be fine as is.

Wow, some of these people don't know what they are talking about.

The flute is tuned to a concert C. The violin is also tuned to a concert C. Therefore, a C on the violin is the same as a C on the flute.

If it were some other instrument like clarinet or saxophone, you would have to transpose, but for flute and violin you do not have to.
