Left! the middle 3 fingers fit the first three holes and your thumb goes at the back. Try and start getting an open G first. This note is one wihout any fingers! Get the shape of your mouth right first then add the fingers

your left thumb should be covering the hole on the back of the clarinet. your left index, middle and ring fingers cover the top three holes with your pinky resting on the keys where your pinky would be in a comfortable position,

your right hand is the same except on the bottom three holes of the clarinet and there isnt a hole for your thumb to cover
