What song to perfome on guitar?

Question:we are having this x-mas party at school in 2 weeks and i can only play one song and have problems deciding between these two songs.One of them(for the love of god by steve vai) is long, slow tempo and kinda sad/beautiful melody+very grand guitar technices.and the other one is surfing with the alien by joe satriani.this one is faster, happier and shorter.but the audiance are not metal fans so surfing with the alien may be too heavy for them.what song should i play?

i'm a big fan of both songs but i would probably recommend the steve vai song.

Play the one that shows off your skill.

play the steve vai one its better

Hard choice I would go with the slow tempo and melody
