Is there a multi effects pedal for guitar that will allow me to quickly turn off

Question:For example if i wanted to go from a chorus/flanger clean type effect to just distortion while i'm performing is this possible?I have not had any experience with any multi effects pedals. Any suggestions on pedals under 400?

The most popular now are the Digitech RP units. from $100 to $300. They have "user presets" so you can set up what you want and then switch between them. The POD Plus or POD XT from Line 6 sound better and have more switches but they're $300 - $400.

Boss ME 50. My friend has one and it's amazing. i believe its 300 and worth every penny.
