Question:Tabs is short for Tabulature, which is a graphic representation of each of the strings of the guitar.

Typically a tab looks like 6 horizontal lines; each line represents the 6 strings of a guitar. The numbers represent which fret on that particular string is fingered.

they are notes that are on a six lined scale that are in number form the #s represent the frets

its kinda like reading notes except there are numbers on lines. the numbers represent what fret to put ur finger(s) on and the line represents what string

the string on the bottom is the 6th string and the string on the top is the 1st

Do you mean tabs as in terms of playing or reading music. Some books out there are in Tab instead of regular sheet music. They figure alot of people can't read sheet music so they use tabs. Basically the music staff with the notes but written in figer placement . It's basically sheet music for those who never learned to read the notes.

Tabs arer the tuning keys at the top of the guitar.
