Imagine everyone in their underwear...sorry cliched.
No, I've had to be on stage for stuff before that I didn't want to do(not singing), and I was pretty nervous, and I knew I'd do well, I just didn't know what people would think. I tried to get it out of my mind and relax and tell myself it would be okay, and tell yourself that you are the one on stage, and the people in the audience aren't nearly as brave as you are, because they aren't on stage. And, and if you mess up, oh well, at least you had the guts.

Oh, I know how you feel. I can sing too. I have sung a solo before. But I am still scared. I think what help me that day. Is I focused on my family and no one else. The crowd just faded away. I love to sing, and I think I would do it again if asked. So keep singing and focus on your family and friends.

Don't think about it too much. Practice first by yourself, then to your family, and then your friends. Trust me, if you can sing your best in front of your friends, you'll be fine in front of strangers. Tell yourself you can do it. Trust yourself to do awesome, because you will. If you tell yourself you can't, you won't be able to.

the way I always handled it was just to be prepared. know your lines/lyrics and have confidence because you have rehearsed it so much.

First; have you performed before? If so, were you nervous then?

Practicing a lot is a good, practical solution. Also keep positive; tell yourself that you can do what others have done. If possible, go practice on the stage where you'll perform.

Now, there are some advanced techniques for stage fright if it's severe.

Some people get serious physical problems--they tremble, tense up, sweat, hyperventilate, get nauseous, break out in hives, faint. If that's you, then you need physical relaxation. The simplest ways to get physically relaxed are: yawn, stretch (big!), shake vigorously, swallow (e.g., big drink water). You also can get yourself more physically relaxed in general if you spend a little time each day tensing and releasing all your major muscle groups. Lie down, and start with feet: flex toes down (not so much that it hurts, but solidly) and then release; repeat. Then point toes up, release, repeat. Work your way up through your entire body, tensing-releasing calves, knees, thighs, glutes, abs, lats, pecs, traps, bikes, trikes, etc. etc. Don't forget fingers, throat, face, tongue.

Breathe! Nervous people try not to breathe; that doesn't help, it only makes them more tense because subconsciously they think they're asphyxiating.

Other people get psychological stage fright--their minds go blank, they get distorted vision, etc. If that's you, you need relaxation records that guide you through intensely vivid imaginatary situations. Look for those at your book seller.

you have to get out and do it. The more you're on stage, the less you'll be nervous. Also, do NOT look for familiar faces faces in the audience. Playing for strangers is often less stressful. look to the back of the room

You never really truly get rid of your stage fright (trust me, I wish you could) but a good thing to do so that you aren't quite as scared is to sit or lay down somewhere and close your eyes. Then think of a "happy place" it clears your head and relaxes you.

Good Luck!!!
Hope this helps!
