Question:I have been contemplating on this for a few months, and have done some research, but can't decide. I'm looking for a good brand that is in the 1,000 - 1,750 range.

Do NOT buy a Jupiter flute. From what I've seen of their flutes, they are not of a very good quality.

Try brands like Pearl and Emerson. I have a Pearl, and it plays very well.
