Question:everytime i sing, i feel like i sound timid, quiet and not as emotional as id like. and it seems like even when i sing as loud as i can, its still missing something. any suggestions?

as a singer for my band ( i dont have a wicked good voice just average) i found experimenting is probably the best way
try singing some songs that have some emotion in them and see if you voice can mimic it and find out what the ranges of your voice is

Rember to sing from your diaphram, or else your not gonna get any volume. To make sure your usin your diaphram lie on the floor with a phone book on your stomach. Sing, and if the book goes up and down then you're using your diaphragm. :-) Also to sing with emotion, you have to have it. So love the song your singin. And if you can't relate then theres not gonna be any emotion.
