Seasons of Love is in copyright, meaning that the composer and lyricist have a right to make a living from the sale of their creative material. This is the same right you have to profit from your work, and this right should be respected. The most important reason you should purchase this particular piece of music is that the distributing companies are like land sharks these days. They will definitely take a huge bite out of your resources if they catch you trying to cut into their profits. For every eight to ten cents that the composer and lyricist makes, the distributors and retailers get about eighty cents, with the rest going to the manufacturers. Do not mess with land sharks. They have no compassion and even less scruples. They fight dirty and they have the law behind them.

There is a digital sheet music service that is gracious enough to host my files. You might check with them and see if they have a more reasonable price than you are finding locally. I am not their agent and I do not profit from mentioning their name in any way. I have had to get my hands on sheet music for friends on a couple of occasions however, and they were very helpful. I am going to say three obvi0ous things now:

1. It's going to be cheaper if you become a member than if you are not a member

2. They have this lifetime Emerald membership that goes on until December 31st. After that you have to renew every year or something

I showed them my answer and they wisely pointed out that the correct link is actually

http://www.sheetmusicdigital.com/FoundIt...

(I changed it below as well. I hate giving the wrong link)

3. I am not saying that they are any better or worse than anyone else. Decide that for yourself. You can also get the sheet music from

http://www.Amazon.com
http://www.honeysucklemusic.com
http://www.jwpepper.com

or any of the hundreds of sheet music sites that exist to service you.

P.S. I mentioned honeysuckle music because I get a lot of music from Jean Olson up in St. Paul Minnesota. She is good people and always gives me a good price and great service. You don't have to mention me at all when you contact her though, because I do not profit in any way if you order something from her, other than the fact that it keeps her in business and that is always good for me.
