There were military campaigns in countries populated by Arabs during WW 2 but these countries were already European colonies or under European control at the time the war began. These include all the North African countries [French & Italian], Syria and Lebanon [French] , Palestine, Egypt and the Gulf States [Britain] and the Somaliland [Italy and Britain] . To counter growing German influence, Britain seized Iraq and with Russia , moved into Persia - Iran- and established a pro-allied government there.
However it should be noted that Iran is not an arab country.
Although some Arab politicians took pro - german or pro - Allied positions the arabs were not generally involved in the fighting, although they were employed in support for the war effort by both side in some areas. The British did recruit a Jewish Brigade for inclusion in the Brirtish army from among the Jews in Palestine.

Its a mixed bag. Some Arabs were on the side of the allies and others with the Axis. At the time of WWII tribalism was more prevelant than today.

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was a fascist and did spend the war in berlin as Hitler's guest; however,he was largely a 1920's creation of the british mandate authorities and had little following in Palestine. Iraq would have gone pro-Axis if the british hadn't intervened against a fascist coup. Other than that,Arabs were basically neutral.

No, following WWI, the allies disolved the ottoman empire, and they where imperial territories, and some where given independence, but they wern't a political or millitary force. nO contry in the middle eas will becoem a cohesive power untill oil is discovered
