I need a duet music piece for 2 women. Any suggestions?

Question:I need a music piece from a musical. We are both alto but can sing in soprano if need be. Two woman preferably, but gender doesn't matter too much. Also, where can I find the sheet music for it?

look for the 'Flower' duet from the Lakme opera. it is a beautiful piece. it was recorded by charlotte church on her voice of an angel album. i think you'll like it.

There's an old Cole Porter good called "Friendship". This was originally from a show called "DuBarry was a Lady", and sung by Lucille Ball and Gene Kelly. She later performed the song in an episode of "I Love Lucy". It's generic enough that it can be sung by two women.

For something more up to date, look at "Wicked". There are a couple of duets for the sisters Galinda and Elphaba.

A really good duet for two girls is "For Good" from Wicked and all you have to do is go to any music store near you and ask for it and if they don't have it they should be able to get it or be able to point you to a place that has it.
