Position:Home>Performing Arts> How much would you standardly pay for guitar lessons??

Question:It depends on where you live....some music stores charge twenty dollars for a half hour and other charge fifteen....and in places like New York it may even cost thirty five - fifty....you have to call around. In some rural places it costs as little as twelve dollars for a half hour lesson. Some places have group lessons that are less expensive, so give that some thought. Private teachers may cost more. I know that when I taught in my home it depended on the status of the parents....some I even taught for nothing if they were good and really wanted to learn, but their parents were to poor to afford it. So shop around, all you have to do is ask what they charge for guitar lessons....and say thank you and that's it !!!!!!!!!!!!

i used to pay $100 for four lessons. It will vary depeding on where you go, if its a studio, a group lesson, or private.

At the studio I go to, lessons cost about $15/half hour.
