heck no. performing arts is about performing there and then, live! on stage. even animated characters cannot give that sense of realism that performing arts gives to the audience.

Of course I don't, but then I'm a little biased -- I'm one of those human actors you mentioned in the question. I suppose my answer would be different if I weer Mickey Mouse.
