How do you not break oboe reeds?

Question:I find it hard not to break them. You've just got to look after them well. Make sure you don't brush them against anything, don't drop them, being careful when opening the reed, stuff like that really.

You can't, well just be very careful. You should to change them at least every 2 weeks, because they just tend to get weaker everytime you play.
