I play on a Benge - their 50th Anniversary limited edition, but other mid- and upper-range Benge trumpets have the same strengths. The large bore on these trumpets gives a more free feel when playing; there is less pressure back against you when you play. It also allows for a terrific, open sound. It does require more air than you are used to if you are currently on a smaller-bore trumpet, but learning to use more air is a good thing. The valves (assuming proper maintenance, of course) are quick, which always helps. My particular instrument is silver with a gold-lined bell, which I think aids the large bore in making the sound less edgy than a straight silver trumpet's would be.

I know people who swear by the Bach Strad models, and having tried them out, they are great instruments. Whatever you pick, I would recommend a first valve saddle rather than a trigger; it's easier to control placement with the saddle, and thus to play in tune once you get a sense of where you hit certain notes (bottom of the staff E, A on the staff or above, etc.).

Good luck; there are many great trumpets out there, so try a few out to see what suits you best.

sell it for 4000 dollars your going to get alot of money
