What song is right for me to sing in my school talent show?

Question:It's this thing called Wildcats Got Talent, and we are going to have community judges there. I want to sing something that will appeal to the students at my school, 6th-8th grade, and the judges. I need to have the lyrics pre-approved for the show. For usual school shows, I have sung Kelly Clarkson, so I need a change. I can sing soul music really good, too. I just need a few ideas and maybe a link to the lyrics. Much appreciated!
