Is it possible for me to get back on the Tuba in highschool ?

Question:I wanted to get back on the Tuba in highschool . I had to quit in the middle of my 7th grade year because my instrument had fell apart and they did little to nothing about it due to the fact that they were strapped for cash and were due 16 million for the new school they were building and i really didnt know how to play other instruments except the Baritone. My mom wouldnt allow me to play that because it was a piece of junk from the school and it was basically unexceptable . I know all of my keys . A, ,B, C ,D ,G, B - Flat and more . Is it possible for me to restart when i get to highschool during freshman year ??
