Pickups used in Jerry Garcia's Wolf, circa 1974?

Question:Anyone know the exact make/model of the pickups used in Jerry's Wolf guitar in 1974? Rumour has it they were either SDS-1s, stock Fender Strats, or hand-wound alembics.

I am almost POSITIVE they were Alembics. That was also the time that Lesh had his six string bass made by Alembic. That thing was amazing. Depending upon how hard he plucked a string, it would deliver left, right or stereo. Freaking thing had a mind all it's own!!!
