Guitar Through Bass Amp Question?

Question:I am interested in playing my electric guitar (along with a stomp pedal) through my bass amp. But which socket do I plug into? There is a passive and an active socket. Active is for instruments that have a power source onboard. Does a 9v powered pedal mean that I need to plug into the active socket?

No,but you can use either input,I would suggest using the passive input though.
