Whats a good electric guitar?

Question:i want to learn to play Guitar, but i want one that sorta sounds something like the sound of..

bands like that (all on myspace if u want to listen to them, kick a $s bands btw)
and is it hard? should i take lessons from a professional?

Go out and git yourself a c-note Fender. A Squire.
Good guitar. And get a nice distortion pedal to go with it.

go to musiciansfriend.com and the guitar don't make the osunds its the amp,pedal,strings,pickups that make the sound and if u have the money get lessons but u can learn online at ultimate-guitar.com

Get a fender telecaster or a squier if you cannot afford it.
