Is it easy to learn Guitar?

Question:if I take lessons and practice... will I be able to play some songs on the acoustic cuz thts all I really wanna do...(if i do this for a year)

i am a guitar teacher and i have students That pick the guitar very easily and others don't. But I'm not gonna tell you its hard, it just depend on your abilities and your attitude and your commitment. You can be a good player within a year or within 3 or 4 moths, just practice hard and be dedicated to practice as much as you can and you'll see you can be good. I f you are decided to learn guitar you may want to set some goals like you are doing, "one year" or "6 months" it good for you. good luck

It is not that easy. I am trying to learn too but it is hard. You could do it in a year but it wont be that good at least to practice a lot.

It all depends on how motivated you are to practice,you could if you practiced a little everyday be able to play a few songs within about a month to three months,if you keep at it for a year providing you practiced regulary you could do a whole lot more! but you also have to remember that learning the guitar is a lifelong thing and that you will never stop learning new things.

Any instrument is hard to learn how to play! It really deepens on how fast of a learner you are! I know a boy and He learned after 3 lessons! But i tried for about a year and I still cant play worth a flip!
