Who is your favorite clarinet player?

Question:my teacher wants me to start listening to differnt clarinetists, to know what i need to sound like.
so who are some of your favorites?

so who are some of your favorites?

Larry Combs, Frank Cohen, John Manasse, and Steve Cohen all have a very consistently beautiful, full tone.
Sabine Meyer's tone is sometimes very good and sometimes has a very thin tone.
Richard Stoltzman and Emma Johnson use way too much vibrato and often have very thin tone.

My all-time favorites are:

Pete Fountain
Benny Goodman
Artie Shaw

These are jazz and swing players of considerable fame many years ago.
