Position:Home>Performing Arts> Wooden Flutes: A question?

Question:Hello!

I'm wondering if wooden flutes and concert flutes have the same sheet music. Is there different types of sheet music, or very different playing styles? Or is it simply just with a different sound?

I have sheet music that says it's for a flute, and I am wondering if "flute" applies to all kinds of flutes.

Thanks! :)

A flute is a flute whether or not it is made of wood, steel or silver. Performance flutes are generally metal as they hold their notes more consistently - believe it or not a wooden flute can go out of tune.

Not suitable for Champagne Flutes.

It will most likely coincide. Some string instruments are great with my violin "book" full of songs, etc. but others..it wouldn't work well. anyways, Yes, it will work fine, just not on *every* instrument that's around. I hope I helped.
