if you want to do a comedy, i highly suggest doing the monologue from Brighton Beach memoirs the eugene says. It is written for a male character but it does not matter in this monologue. it begins with "...that's what they have gutters for." I am sure you can find it on the internet, if not and you are interested email me and i will type it up for you. It's great! Plus they are always impressed when you dont do the same thing as everyone else.
stay away from things like shakespeare because they will have heard these a HUNDRED times.

Make sure it is 100% Clean.. Do not use any of the Seven Words You can Not say on Television.

Read up on current events in your area and joke about that.
