If your voice is shaking that means you're not supporting your breath enough. A good exercise is to lie on your back and exhale completely until there is no air left at all. Then sit there and let your body naturally take in the breath- don't force it. You should feel your abdomen inflate but if your shoulders move, you're forcing it. Put your hand on your abdomen and let out an "ah". Feel your stomach change as you go louder or softer and you'll get a handle on what it feels like to be in total control of the sound and your breath. Practice this a bunch of times. Also, with your hand on your stomach, say "ha. Ha. Ha. Ha" a bunch of times. Feel your stomach when you do that. if you're doing it right your stomach should come in as you say ha...this is also a control exercise.

Get a deep breath before hitting the note, and use your abdomen to control the flow of air instead of your chest and/or throat.

Also, think about "coming in over the top" of the note when you first hit it -- not to sing sharp, but sing at the top and let it weaken rather than trying to "slide up" into it.

That's just for starters.

A way to help your voice be stronger is to work on your cardiovascular system. Go running or another aerobics activity to strengthen your voice. Also when hitting the note think of a kite. You kinda have to pull it down to keep it up in the air. think of pulling down in your stomach as you hit the note. This will also help with strength
