Position:Home>Performing Arts> What are some good Acoustic Guitar Brands?

Question:Im an intermediate guitar player i would think and would like to upgrade from my pretty much basic acoustic Yamaha F-310 set up. Any suggestions? I'm really interested in getting a cut out acoustic. But open to any really. Thanks for you input!

I live in UK, so don't know much about USA prices, but I use Ovations for performing. Failing that, Takamine are good, so are Tanglewood. There's a new company called Vintage who are doing some nice stuff too. Best answer is to go to your local music shop and try out what's in your price range, see wht does it for you. Hope this helps.

Your limit of $500 has already crossed out the top brands of Martin, Taylor, and Gibson.

Consider Alvarez, Epiphone, Seagull, Breedlove, but don't rule out unknown brands that suit your style of playing and ease with the instrument.

I'm playing a Takamine and I love it! The true advantage of the Takamine comes when you plug it in, though. It has some very good electronics that create a very nice sound when the guitar is amplified.

FENDER!!!!!
